1. What materials are used in the elaboration of your products?
The materials used for the elaboration of our products are 100% natural. The wool used for making the tapestries is of sheep or llama, and it's spun entirely by hand.

 

2. Are your products elaborated by your own artisans?

The artisans of Aurora School participate in every single stage of the process of elaboration of our tapestries.

 

3. Are the products 100% produced manually?

Yes, the elaboration of our products is totally manual. There are no industrial processes involved.

 

 

4. What's the average time needed for the elaboration of a tapestry?

In average it takes 40 working hours, but it depends on the size and design.

 

5. Does the symbolism on your products always respect the design of the region's culture?

Yes, the designs are wholly based on the culture of the region.

 

6. Do you deal with wholesale?

If you are interested in making a wholesale purchase please get in touch with us through the contact section, giving us a detailed account of what you need and the characteristics of the transaction you wish to perform. We can then evaluate your request and determine if we are in condition to meet it adequately. Once your request is analysed we'll get in touch with you to answer your requirement.

 

 

7. Apart from credit cards, are there other ways of payment?

At the present time we don't accept credit cards, but very soon we will enable this payment form.
The credit cards that we will accept will be Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Dicover, in case you are not able to or don't want to carry out an operation with these credit cards and want another payment form (for e.g. WestUnion) we request him to send us their order through our form of Order of Purchase.

 

 

8. Are there other designs to your products for sale?
Apart from the products detailed on our web site our artisans periodically make new designs which will be on display in the site in due time.

 

9. Do you send catalogues by e-mail?
Although we don't have an electronic catalogue at the moment, we are working on it and will be available in various languages. We will send it to you if you request it via e-mail or through the questionnaire form.

 

10. Are the transactions with credit cards done under a safe server?

At the moment we don't accept credo cards, but very soon we will enable this payment form.
Our operations with credit card will be carried out through 2checkout, the one that has SSL. The transaction is carried out then in a completely sure servant of 2 ckeckout.

 

11. How do you send your products?
We send our products by International couriers like DHL or UPS, but we also count on the services of international postal package, international post or through the Argentine post. When you make the purchase transaction of one of our products you can choose the one you consider more adequate.

 

12. Is it possible to know where my shipment is all the time?
It depends mostly on the shipment service you have chosen. With DHL for example, you get a shipment number and you can look it up in Internet; with the postal service you don't have this possibility..

 

13. Why is there a variation in price in the different shipment services?
This is due to the type of service you receive for your shipment. The variation resides in the delivery speed, the possibility of consulting where your shipment is in Internet, the security, excellency of service, etc.

 

14. What is the maximum delay in which I'll receive the shipment once the purchase is made?
The maximum delay will be approximately 35 days and it will depend on various factors: the shipment service you have chosen, where you live and the the time in which credits the payment for the product you have bought.

 

15. Can you give me more information on the original culture of the Calchaquí Valleys?

We don't have this service, but in the future we'll be adding documentation in our Web site with specific information on the culture of the Calchaquí Valleys with pictures of their art.

 

16. Is it possible to know more about Aurora School's project?.
